Moroborne Trade Group (MTG) is a global trading company and parent to Daps Integrated Resources Nigeria Limited (DIR). MTG is in discussions to open a European division. The team of companies and strategic partners work closely to undertake the importation, exportation and marketing of energy, agricultural and non-agricultural commodities, as well as industrial chemical products. We stimulate trade and foster buyer and seller interaction in the energy and commodity sectors. We represent ourselves as OEMs on certain agricultural commodities such as cocoa and rice, and also act as official mandates, representing many of our strategic partners, independent manufacturers and suppliers.
Agricultural Commodities
The agricultural commodity business division at Moroborne drives the production and marketing of commodities for basic human and industrial consumption. The core commodities include:
- a) Rice
- b) Sugar (raw and refined/fortified)
- c) Cocoa Bean and Powder
- d) Fruit based alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- e) Several other raw and processed food items.
We have marketing and distribution relationships with producers, farmers, mills and manufacturers. They include but are not limited to Gbemtam Investment Company - cocoa farmers (Africa), Rice Mills in Thailand and several Arroz quality rice mills in Brazil. Our global relationships allow us to offer supply chain and risk management expertise and support to our customers while driving value through efficiencies derived from the experiences and expertise of these relationships.
This division also manages the production, marketing and exportation of cocoa out of West Africa. Cocoa is a leading commodity of trading interest due to its numerous applications and benefits. Listed below are some of the copious applications for which our cocoa products are best suited:
